Listening to Your Body

One simple yet powerful way to support healing within the body is to begin a conscious conversation with it.

Whenever there is an organ, area, or aspect of the body that feels out of balance or in need of support, take a moment to turn inward. Through intention and presence, connect with that part of your body and simply ask:

How are you?

What do you need?

What is troubling you?

What is missing?

Then become still and attentive to whatever arises.

What the Body May Ask For

Your body may ask for tenderness, attention, a particular supplement, more peace, care and support, a specific herbal tea, more water, additional rest, physical movement, energetic cleansing, or an infusion of fresh energy.

The body is constantly communicating with us.

Most of the time, however, we are too busy to truly listen.

Returning to Balance

Whenever an organ or area of the body falls into imbalance, it is often trying to draw our attention to something it needs.

The moment we turn toward it with awareness and begin offering the support it is asking for, the body naturally responds. It moves toward healing, restoration, and greater balance.

Our bodies possess remarkable wisdom.

Sometimes, all they need is for us to pause, listen, and respond with love.
