A gentle path to balance
One of the simplest ways to support the health of the physical body is the practice of the inner smile.
Where it comes from
This teaching comes from ancient Chinese practices and involves turning inward and gently smiling to each organ of your body.
The practice
Close your eyes and bring your awareness inside.
Begin to softly smile — not outwardly, but from within.
Then, direct this inner smile to your body.
You can start by smiling to your heart, then to your lungs, your liver, your stomach, and gradually to your entire body.
The effect
This simple gesture creates a state of relaxation, harmony, and connection.
Over time, it can support the body’s natural healing processes and bring a deeper sense of inner peace.
